The company c-LEcta is specialized in the discovery, optimization and production of customized enzymes and strains for applications in industrial biotechnology.
The enzyme engineering platform of c-LEcta has been developed over the last 10 years following the primary objective of fast access to the optimal biocatalyst in a streamlined manner. The platform consists of unique and proprietary methods like cluster screening, c-LEcta mutagenesis and bioinformatics tools. Our methods are featured by high quality and reliability, thus resulting in excellent hit rate in enzyme libraries and speed in enzyme development projects. The success of c-LEcta’s enzyme engineering platform has been demonstrated over the last 10 years for various enzyme classes and engineering objectives
Within ROBOX we will apply our technology for the optimization of the ROBOX target enzymes for robustness in synthetic oxidative processes using the c-LEcta engineering platform. The c-LEcta technology is suitable to perform statistical analysis of different approaches for protein stabilization. Hence, in addition to develop and provide robust biocatalysts for the consortium, c-LEcta aims also at developing more efficient strategies for protein stabilization with universal applicability.
