The new EU research programme is taking shape as a mix of academia–industry collaborations and discovery science is proposed but its budget of €100 billion needs to be approved.
Like Horizon 2020 under which ROBOX was funded this new programme will fund collaborations between academia/industry as well as prestigious discovery science but will include some fresh ideas with a greater focus on innovation and include initiatives to help poorer nations compete for funds.
H2020Robox
The European Union has selected the ROBOX proposal as H2020 project. This project has 19 partners and will be coordinated by DSM Geleen. The proposal "ROBOX: Expanding the Industrial Use of Robust Oxidative Biocatalysts for the Conversion and Production of Alcohols" took first place in the selection.
