Our partner cLEcta have had their patent “KETOREDUCTASES” WO 2019/012095 A1 published.
This invention relates to ketoreductases and their use that are particularly useful for enzymatically catalyzing the reduction of ketones to chiral or non-chiral secondary alcohols and oxidation of chiral or non-chiral secondary alcohols to ketones.
Andreas Vogel (one of the inventors) from cLEcta presents some of these reults at our recent industrially oriented workshop at Dechema in Frankfurt.
H2020Robox
The European Union has selected the ROBOX proposal as H2020 project. This project has 19 partners and will be coordinated by DSM Geleen. The proposal "ROBOX: Expanding the Industrial Use of Robust Oxidative Biocatalysts for the Conversion and Production of Alcohols" took first place in the selection.
